Logitech Harmony universal being discontinued

 

Logitech has announced plans to sunset its Harmony universal remote line.

The Harmony universal has been a favorite among home theater and home automation enthusiasts for several years, like magic it can control everything. The one to rule them all can control multiple network-connected devices and is capable of controlling everything ranging from smart TVs, A/V receivers, smart lights along with working with Amazon (Alexa) and Google Assistant.

Logitech has stated that the company plans to do right by their customer.

“We plan to support our Harmony community and new Harmony customers, which includes access to our software and apps to set up and manage your remotes,” the peripherals maker said in a post on its support site. “We also plan to continue to update the platform and add devices to our Harmony database. Customer and warranty support will continue to be offered.”

For those who are still interested in getting their hand on the Harmony line of universal remotes can still find them through other retailers will supply last.
